Dan Forkrud’s formidable talents and his experience transcend the areas of operations, finance, and strategy.
He brings these together in his current BARBRI role, providing leadership for the operational efforts of bar review, BARBRI’s law school offerings, and the professional association of Certified eDiscovery Specialists. Charged with the strategic direction and performance of these critical business units, Dan is known among his teams and colleagues as a motivating leader who produces strong results through innovative thinking and a collaborative team approach.
Prior to his current leadership role, Dan was in financial planning and analysis, responsible for the business forecasting and budgeting for multiple BARBRI business units. These experiences, along with his strong project management and development background, enabled him to become highly skilled at cross-functional and cross business unit management and prioritization. Dan also offers a breadth of systems experience, having led the design, testing and launch of operating systems.
Dan’s diverse background, strategic grasp of the business, and his ability to quickly hone in on critical metrics and impact performance make him an integral member of the BARBRI leadership team.
Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in business/managerial economics from Carleton College. He enjoys spending time with his two children and family, as well as anything outdoors or active, including fishing, hunting, and various sporting activities.
